Mark Magennis wins Unsung Hero Award at EEAA 2018 Awards for Excellence
Mark Magennis together with Stephen Steenson from Reed Exhibitions Australia, received the highly prestigious Unsung Hero Award at the EEAA 2018 Awards for Excellence. This award honours the industry’s highest achieving individuals, shows, venues, suppliers and teams.
This esteemed award now in its 2nd year recognises individuals for their service and contribution to the Events and Exhibition Industry and the EEAA Community. Nominees maybe well known, or fly under the radar. Whatever their role they are passionate and devoted to always going beyond what is expected to deliver outstanding service. They make things happen and contribute to the success of their industry by providing mentorship, consistence leadership, inspiration, passion and commitment to enhancing others.
EEAA Chief Executive, Joyce DiMascio, congratulated Mark on the honour and said it was exciting to see such tremendous work being delivered by Mark.
Mark was nominated by his team and it was extremely hard to keep this a secret! Needless to say that when his name was called out he was completely surprised, humbled and overwhelmed with pride.
