Our Team - DE Crew

Decorative Events and Exhibitions employs 50 full-time, part -time and casual staff. The team is headed by the two Directors, Peter Fulton and Mark Magennis.  

Peter Fulton – Creative Director Peter is one of the event industry’s most well known and respected designers and decorators. His exciting career began in the late 1980’s at the age of 15 years, as an apprentice sign writer and visual merchandiser.  In 1994 Peter joined Sydney’s premier event hire and decorating company.  His creative talent was soon recognised and he became their head stylist and decorator.  Over the next six years Peter decorated some of Sydney’s most prestigious events.  In 2001 Peter created Decorative Events a dedicated event styling and decorating company and his natural artistic talent, wealth of experience and dedication to excellence has resulted in DE&E becoming an event organisers decorating dream come true.

Mark Magennis – Managing Director Mark Magennis is the Managing Director of Decorative Events & Exhibitions (DE&E) with over 20 years’ experience in customer experience strategy, marketing and events. This year DE&E celebrates 15 years in design and with Mark’s leadership the company has experienced exponential growth and success.  Working meticulously with many clients over the years, Mark has delivered unique solutions for his clients whilst creating a dynamic company philosophy motivated by the art of customisation.  Mark is passionate about all things experiential by driving customer engagement and brand goals through creative client retention and acquisition strategies, whilst constantly enjoying the opportunity of growing and mentoring his team to push the boundaries of what can be achieved.
